UNTHA UK appoints senior sales consultant
Industrial shredding systems supplier UNTHA UK, based in Roecliffe, in North Yorkshire, has strengthened its sales team with the appointment of Paul Martin as senior sales consultant.
Paul brings more than 20 years’ experience in the mobile plant sector.
He began his career as a mobile engineer at Volvo Construction Equipment before progressing into sales leadership, including eight years as area sales manager for the Yorkshire region.
In his new role, Paul will support UNTHA UK’s nationwide sales strategy, focusing on organisations across the eastern UK while working alongside fellow senior sales consultant Jason Valentine.
Paul said: “What attracted me to UNTHA UK was its unwavering partner approach.
“Beyond boasting a strong reputation and high-quality engineering capabilities, the business is deeply committed to helping customers solve problems properly, and empowering them with long-term thinking that goes beyond the obvious.
“The waste sector is evolving fast, and customers want partners who understand the commercial realities on site – not a siloed supplier that simply wants to tick a sales quota.
“Working alongside Jason, with a neat east–west split, gives us the space to be closer to customers and more proactive in how we support their growth and operational goals.”
Paul’s appointment comes as the company continues to grow its client base and develop new shredding technologies, with further innovations set to be showcased at IFAT in May.
Marcus Brew, managing director at UNTHA UK, added: “Our continued growth reflects one simple yet significant truth: customers value trusted expertise as much as high-quality equipment.
“As waste streams become more complex and expectations around recovery, compliance, and return on investment increase, the role of sales has shifted from transactional to advisory, ensuring every facet of operations is geared to maximise value.
“With a new, highly experienced and technically astute sales consultant in our ranks, we’re perfectly positioned to have those deeper, more strategic conversations on how to turn complex waste challenges into measurable commercial and environmental outcomes.”
