BOXPARK appoints chief financial officer
Hospitality and leisure group BOXPARK has appointed Rob Cooper as chief financial officer.
Rob joins the business from Chicken Shop, where he spent more than four years as financial director supporting the brand’s expansion and overseeing its financial operations.
In his new role, he will lead BOXPARK’s financial strategy and work closely with CEO Matt Snell and the senior leadership team as the company continues its growth.
Rob said: “I’m really excited to be joining BOXPARK and to be coming on board at such an important time for the business.
“BOXPARK has built an incredible reputation and a truly distinctive offer, and I’m looking forward to working closely with Matt and the wider team as we continue to grow and evolve.
“I’m excited to bring my experience to the role and to play a part in shaping the next stage of BOXPARK’s journey.”
Rob succeeds Chris Burford, who is stepping down after helping stabilise the business.
Matt Snell, chief executive of BOXPARK, added: “We are delighted to be welcoming Rob to the team.
“He brings fantastic experience and a strong track record of supporting growth, and he’ll be a key part of shaping our next chapter as we continue to work towards our vision to be the world’s most sought-after hospitality experience brand.
“I’d also like to thank Chris for everything he’s contributed during his time at BOXPARK.
“He’s played an important role in stabilising the business and setting us up to achieve our future growth ambitions.
“We’re hugely grateful for his hard work and wish him the very best for the future.”
