BRUSH appoints transformers director
Engineering solutions provider BRUSH Group, headquartered in Loughborough, has appointed Vanessa Wu-Barker as director of its transformers division.
A member of the executive team, Vanessa will lead the strategy and growth of the company’s transformers business, overseeing engineering, manufacturing and delivery.
She brings more than 20 years’ experience in operations management, network transformation and strategic delivery across global engineering and industrial sectors.
Her appointment comes as demand for power transformers increases amid the transition to net-zero and the need for more resilient energy infrastructure.
Nicolas Pitrat, chief executive of BRUSH Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Vanessa to the BRUSH executive team.
“Her depth of experience in operations and supply chain transformation is already making a positive impact, and she has quickly become a key contributor to our strategic plans for the transformers business.
“I’m very much looking forward to working alongside her as we continue to grow and innovate in this critical market.”
