Former agency sales leader launches fractional consultancy to support scaling businesses

A sales leader who helped double revenue at a Northern digital agency, Climb & Conquer, contributing to more than 600 per cent growth over five years, has launched a new consultancy aimed at start ups and SMEs scale more effectively.

Keegan Wood, founded by Cameron Keegan-Wood, provides fractional sales leadership to businesses that lack senior expertise across the full sales function, including strategy, outbound development and deal closing.

Unlike many advisory or coaching services, the consultancy focuses on practical delivery as well as strategy, working directly within businesses to build and execute their sales processes.

Keegan-Wood previously held roles at Trinity Mirror and THG before founding his own agency, achieving six figure revenue growth within eight months.

He later worked with Visualsoft, where he closed more than 100 deals before moving into agency leadership and helping drive significant commercial growth.

Drawing on experience across tech, ecommerce and digital agencies, Keegan-Wood launched the consultancy to give growing businesses access to senior sales leadership without the cost of a full time commercial hire.

The new consultancy works with agencies, technology platforms and scaling businesses that have strong delivery teams or products but struggle to build a consistent new business pipeline.

Speaking about the launch, Keegan-Wood said: “Many agencies grow through reputation and referrals, which works well in the early stages. As teams grow and overheads increase, relying on founder led sales or a limited talent pool can quickly become a constraint on growth.

“Over the past few years I kept seeing the same pattern. Talented teams delivering strong results for clients but with no structured approach to sales or commercial strategy.

“Keegan Wood was created to help businesses bridge that gap without needing to hire a full time sales member before they are ready.”

Fractional sales has become increasingly common among scaling SMEs looking to access senior expertise without the cost of a full time executive hire.

Keegan Wood’s approach focuses on helping businesses define their ideal customer profile, build repeatable outbound and sales processes, and create more predictable revenue pipelines.

The consultancy is designed to support start-ups and SMEs with revenues of up to £5 million across the UK.
