Firm fires up growth plans with Midlands expansion
An industrial services firm has expanded with a new base.
RECOM Solutions has opened a Birmingham site.
Bosses say the hub will host the Salford Quays-headquartered company’s passive fire protection division.
Based at Fort Dunlop, they add the base will support “growing demand… and an expanding pipeline of projects throughout the Midlands, along the M6 corridor and across the South West”.
Headed by Sarah Leadbetter, RECOM Fire Solutions provides services such as fire door installation and surveys, overboarding and fire curtain fitting across sectors including education, healthcare and defence.
Sarah said: “Our new office underpins our ambitious plans for the division and gives us a strong Midlands presence.
“Passive fire protection plays a critical role in helping organisations safeguard their people, property and operations.
“Our mission is to create safer buildings and communities by helping clients develop and implement strategies that mitigate risk.”
Founded in 2015 by Jason McKnight and Joseph Dillon, RECOM Solutions’ portfolio also includes project management consultancy and main contracting construction work.
