G&H appoints head of operations
Leeds-based MEP specialist G&H has appointed Ian Moorby as head of operations in a move to support the growth of its maintenance department.
Ian brings more than 25 years’ experience in building services and facilities management, joining from MITIE where he managed private finance initiative contracts.
He previously served as operations manager at AMEY, overseeing maintenance and project works across the North East prison network for the Ministry of Justice.
In his new role, Ian will lead operational delivery across G&H’s maintenance division as the business continues to expand its national client base.
He said: “G&H has built a strong reputation for quality and technical expertise.
“I’m looking forward to working with the team to enhance operational performance, develop our people, and support clients across a diverse range of sectors.”
David Ridsdale, maintenance director at G&H, added: “Ian has hit the ground running.
“As we continue to expand our maintenance offering across the UK, his operational expertise and leadership experience will be instrumental in delivering our growth strategy.
“His track record in managing complex public sector contracts aligns perfectly with our commitment to operational excellence and long-term client partnerships.”
