Darren said: “Hewland is a company with an exciting future.
“I’m delighted to have joined the business, which has its roots in motorsport but has successfully expanded into complementary markets.
“It’s a true icon of British engineering and I am sure that the varied projects that will be brought to our White Waltham headquarters and Southam testing facility will be developed and delivered successfully.”
Hewland Engineering, part of the Hero Motors Limited group, provides end-to-end powertrain solutions for high-performance and specialist engineering applications.
Ashish Narukulla, strategy and commercial director at Hewland Engineering, said: “Darren is the ideal person to bring into Hewland at this time, and I’m looking forward to working with him as we grow the business across new and existing markets.
“His experience will prove invaluable and having developed contacts across a variety of engineering sectors, I am confident that he will deliver key new contacts and projects to the team.”
