Nu Quantum hires VP of business development
Cambridge-based quantum networking company Nu Quantum has appointed Dr Maria Maragkou as vice president of business development.
Maria will lead the company’s business development strategy, build its partner ecosystem and support the next stage of commercial growth.
She holds a PhD in quantum optics from the University of Southampton and previously conducted postdoctoral research as a Marie Curie Fellow in Madrid and Paris.
Maria later served as a senior editor at Nature Photonics and Nature Materials before moving into the quantum industry.
Most recently, she was vice president of commercial at Riverlane, where she led product and business development and helped shape the company’s global partnerships and go-to-market strategy.
