Adderstone marks year of growth with office move
A property developer is celebrating a year of growth in Yorkshire with a new city centre office, an expanded regional team and progress on several housing developments.
Adderstone Living has marked its first year operating in the region by relocating its Yorkshire base to East Coast House on Skeldergate, in York.
Bosses say the move provides additional space to support the company’s expansion and offers a more accessible location for partners and stakeholders.
The developer has also strengthened its regional team with the appointments of Terry McKee as contracts manager, Mike Rytwinski as technical manager and Henry Walton as trainee quantity surveyor.
They join regional director Rick Long, and Richard Coy, head of development for Yorkshire.
The growing team reflects rising demand for social housing across the region and supports Adderstone Living’s expanding pipeline of projects.
Rick said: “It’s been a really positive first year for the Yorkshire team.
“Our focus has been on building a strong operational base, putting the right people in place and creating a team with the experience and energy to deliver consistently for our partners.”
The Yorkshire division is now nearing the handover of its first homes at developments in East Cowton and Swinton, near Malton, with further schemes scheduled to complete in summer 2026.
Steven McCoy, managing director of Adderstone Living, added: “It’s been amazing to see the Yorkshire team go from strength to strength over the past year.
“The progress being made reflects Adderstone Living’s commitment to a locally delivered, regionally rooted approach- building strong partnerships and supporting the delivery of high-quality affordable homes across Yorkshire.”
