CTS invests in team and tech after record growth

A Yorkshire supply chain specialist is investing in new staff, machinery and technology after reporting record growth and rising demand for its services.

Corporate Trade Supplies (CTS) UK has announced significant investment to scale its operations, strengthen its senior leadership team and expand production capacity.

Founded in 2021, the independent business provides goods not for resale (GNFR) to some of the largest companies across the UK and Europe. 

Rapid growth has seen the firm create around 120 jobs across its Yorkshire sites in Northallerton, Thirsk and Harworth.

The expansion follows a record year for the company, which reported turnover of £45 million. 

Bosses say they expect this to rise further in the coming years, with forecasts suggesting revenues could reach £100 million by 2028.

As part of its growth strategy, the business has strengthened its leadership team with several senior appointments, including Kate Ward as procurement director, Alex Ingham as commercial director and Peter Steed as head of production.

CTS has also committed a six-figure sum towards new machinery, technology and a brand-new production unit as it continues to expand its capabilities and meet increasing customer demand.
