Display firm eyes growth after six-figure launch
An outdoor display and telecoms firm has unveiled job plans after launching with global ambitions.
Future Vision Group says its “headcount will rise quickly in the coming months” as it targets growth across the UK, US and Dubai.
The business – founded with six-figure investment by Robert Webster, Anthony Ford, David Forrester and silent partner James Hart – provides weatherproof televisions and LED screens for pubs, football stadiums and concert venues.
The company, which has offices and a warehouse in Peterlee, East Durham, also delivers telecoms services including business broadband, business mobile phones and structured cabling.
Bosses say they aim to make the endeavour – which already employs sales, support and project management staff – the “go-to supplier of outdoor televisions, large digital displays and first-class telecoms solutions”.
Robert, managing director, said: “The team we’ve put in place is vastly experienced, and with the connections we each have, we’re confident we will be able to quickly establish the business.
“I believe our biggest challenge will not be if or how we grow, but how we manage that growth.
“That has to start with getting our position within the UK market established, then looking at opportunities overseas.”
David, who was previously part-owner and director at Team Valley-based national sign maker Astley, added: “I knew Robert and Anthony well from my days at Astley, so when the opportunity to join Future Vision Group came up, it was too good to miss.
“My aim is to bring some of that success to Future Vision Group and help the business establish a reputation for excellence.”
