Estate agency adds new home with office move
A family-run estate agent has strengthened city roots with an office expansion.
Staves has opened a fifth South West Sheffield base.
Officials say the Banner Cross move will add four full-time staff to its 20-strong team and “confirms its commitment to keeping its vibrant community alive”.
The 852sq ft site – on the corner of Ecclesall Road and Psalter Lane – adds to existing branches in Woodseats, Dore & Totley, Gleadless and Dronfield.
The firm has signed a ten-year lease on the office, which was formerly home to another estate agent.
Director Matthew Staves said: “After scoping multiple locations, the premises stood out as the clear choice because of its prime location.
“The new branch places us in the heart of Sheffield’s busy Ecclesall Road area.”
Sheffield-based Wake Smith Solicitors advised Staves on its lease deal.
Director Tom Weightman added: “Staves’ experience in the sector and drive to succeed in the industry makes for an exciting addition to the Sheffield property market.”
Crosthwaite Commercial acted as lettings agent for the landlord.
