Inscape taps into city regeneration schemes
A Lancashire-based interiors specialist is expanding its footprint across the UK after securing a string of contracts on city centre regeneration projects.
Inscape Interiors has been appointed to deliver washroom facilities across four high-profile schemes, supporting developments aimed at revitalising town and city centres.
In Newcastle, the company will work with STP Construction on Freight Island at Eldon Square, helping transform a former Debenhams unit into a large-scale food, drink and entertainment venue.
In Sheffield, Inscape has partnered with Willmott Dixon Construction on the Fargate Sheffield Events Centre, which will convert a vacant retail space into a new cultural and events destination.
Meanwhile in Greater Manchester, the business will support VINCI on the £33 million Bury Market and Flexihall development, modernising the historic market while creating a flexible community space.
Further north, Inscape has been appointed by Morrison Construction to deliver facilities at the New Aberdeen Market, a project set to introduce a contemporary marketplace and food hall.
Together, the schemes represent a combined construction value of more than £90 million and form part of wider efforts to drive footfall and economic activity in urban centres.
Paul Partington, business development director at Inscape, said: “We’re proud to be working on these schemes across the UK and partnering with some of the industry’s leading contractors.
“Strong, longstanding relationships are a big part of what we do, and it’s great to see contractors continuing to place their trust in us.
“Regeneration projects like these create real benefits to their communities – they attract investment, create jobs and help deliver places that people want to visit, work and spend time, which in turn supports local businesses.
“We’re supporting these developments by providing durable washroom facilities designed for busy, high-footfall environments, that will last for years to come.”
