Salko UK fired up by power station deals
A mechanical and electrical firm has fired up its order book with energy sector work.
Salko UK has secured deals to deliver maintenance support to Enfield Power Station, Grain Power Station and Taylors Lane Power Station.
Bosses say its four-year Enfield deal will include cooler and exhaust work at the London base, which will boost reliability and safety.
They add its Grain and Taylors Lane agreements will “solidify its role as a trusted partner” for operator Uniper.
Sim Sharphouse, operations manager at Salko UK, which is headquartered in Spaldington, near Goole, said: “It’s an honour to have won another contract with Uniper.
“This latest business milestone shows our commitment as a technical partner, ensuring the reliability, availability and longevity of Uniper’s flexible generation fleet.”
