Summit builds momentum for manufacturing leaders
A North East business event is drawing strong interest as industry leaders prepare to gather for a day of insight, collaboration and sector growth.
The Manufacturing Leaders Summit 2026, launched by Theo James Recruitment in partnership with New College Durham, has already secured more than 100 bookings ahead of the event on Thursday, April 30, with limited spaces remaining.
The not-for-profit summit will bring together senior figures from across manufacturing and engineering for a programme focused on leadership, operational performance and future industry challenges.
Attendees can expect keynote talks, panel discussions and practical workshops covering topics such as workforce development, automation, digital transformation and improving productivity without major capital investment.
Sessions have been designed to deliver practical, real-world insight, with a speaker line-up drawn from industry, engineering and high-performance environments.
Workshops will also tackle key sector challenges, including skills shortages, workforce planning and maximising business value.
The event builds on the success of the Manufacturing Leaders Podcast, offering the first large-scale opportunity for its growing community to connect in person.
Tickets are priced as a £15 recommended donation, with all proceeds supporting the Red Sky Foundation, a North East charity helping young people with heart conditions.
Organisers say the strong early uptake reflects a clear demand for meaningful, value-led industry events, with the summit aiming to create lasting connections and drive progress across the sector.
