ThinkND puts focus on neuroinclusive workplaces
A Leeds-based consultancy has been launched to help organisations improve performance and retention by building more inclusive workplaces.
ThinkND has been founded by Paula Louise Dixon and Kate Dean, combining expertise in business psychology and neurodiversity to support organisations in embedding practical, evidence-led approaches to neuroinclusion.
The consultancy works across leadership, management and team levels to help businesses create environments where different ways of thinking can thrive.
Its services include organisational audits, strategy development, coaching and leadership programmes, alongside support for recruitment, job design and workplace adjustments.
Kate, formerly head of disability at Leeds Beckett University, said: “We founded ThinkND from a shared belief that inclusion and performance should sit together rather than in opposition.
“Many organisations understand the value that different thinking styles can bring, from creativity and problem-solving to fresh perspectives.
“However, they are still developing the leadership capability and workplace practices needed to support this effectively.
“Our role is to partner with organisations wherever they are on that journey – from those building confidence in their responsibilities to progressive businesses embedding enhanced neuroinclusive practice.”
The launch comes as research highlights the link between inclusive cultures and stronger business outcomes, with around one in five people estimated to be neurodivergent.
ThinkND is also leading a Yorkshire-wide research project with Lighthouse Futures Trust, aimed at improving employment opportunities for neurodivergent people.
The consultancy aims to position neuroinclusion as a core part of organisational strategy rather than a compliance exercise, helping employers build long-term capability and resilience.
Paula added: “Many organisations want to support neurodivergent colleagues effectively but aren’t always sure where to begin.
“Others have already taken steps and are now looking to strengthen consistency, leadership capability and organisational culture.
“We work with organisations across that full continuum, helping them move from awareness to confident, sustainable action.
“The Equality Act continues to set an important legal framework.
“But organisations that focus on psychologically safe leadership, thoughtful job design and consistent adjustment practices often see benefits across their entire workforce.”
