Plans submitted for 59-home Harrogate scheme
A housebuilder has submitted plans for a new residential development in Harrogate.
Avant Homes North Yorkshire has lodged proposals for a £16 million scheme on Knox Lane, which would deliver 59 homes.
The 5.61-acre site is set to include a mix of one, two, three and four-bedroom properties, featuring eight of the developer’s energy-efficient house types.
Subject to approval from North Yorkshire Council, construction could begin in early 2027, with the first residents expected to move in by late summer the following year.
Richard Hosie, managing director of Avant Homes North Yorkshire, said: “Submitting our proposed plans for this site in Harrogate is an excellent step forward as we continue to grow our development footprint across North Yorkshire.
“As a housebuilder, we are committed to delivering practically designed, energy efficient new homes for everyone in places where people want to live.
“The plans for our development reflect this.
“We now look forward to North Yorkshire Council considering our plans to deliver a new and thriving community for the local area.”
