Recruitment firms relocate to new Leeds base

Two specialist recruitment agencies have relocated to new offices in Leeds city centre.

Servoca Health and Academics have moved into Goodbard House, securing space on the third floor of the centrally located building.

Bosses say the move from St Andrews House on The Headrow reflects a desire for upgraded facilities and closer proximity to the city’s core business district.

Jonathan Long, managing director of education recruitment firm Academics, said: “This Leeds move forms part of a wider programme of strategic relocations for Servoca Health and Academics (both part of Servoca PLC).

“The relocation has enabled a more efficient use of space, with a layout that better aligns to our current working practices and allows us to operate effectively within our footprint.

“Rushbond’s proactive approach in delivering the fit-out has not only reduced overall costs, but also minimised internal management time, providing clear value for money.

“In addition, Goodbard House’s more central location significantly improves accessibility for staff, candidates, and clients, supporting stronger and more efficient engagement across our stakeholder base.”

Owned by Rushbond Plc, Goodbard House sits on Infirmary Street, close to Leeds Station and the city’s main business district.

The deal was brokered by CBRE’s Leeds office agency team, with only two suites now remaining.

The move reflects a wider trend across the Leeds market, with businesses prioritising premium, well-connected offices to support employee wellbeing and attract talent.

Ellie McCollin, of CBRE in Leeds, added: “Servoca Health and Academics’ decision to relocate to Goodbard House reflects the continued demand we’re seeing from businesses seeking higher quality workspace in central Leeds.

“Companies increasingly recognise the importance of well-located, modern office environments that support collaboration, staff wellbeing and talent retention.

“Goodbard House offers occupiers an excellent combination of strong connectivity and immediate access to the city’s amenities, and we’re pleased to have secured Servoca Health and Academics as part of the building’s occupier community.”
