A County Durham restaurant has unveiled a new seasonal menu designed to showcase locally sourced ingredients and fresh spring flavours.
The Glass House at Wynyard Hall has launched its new spring menu, introducing a range of dishes designed to showcase estate-grown ingredients and regional suppliers.
Set within the 400-acre Wynyard Hall estate, the restaurant has built a reputation for its plot-to-plate approach, combining informal dining with a focus on fresh, seasonal flavours.
The updated menu features a mix of starters, mains and sharing plates, with dishes such as lamb with seasonal vegetables, lemon sole with brown shrimp and a range of plant-based options, all designed to highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients and simple, balanced flavours.

The new offer reinforces the venue’s position as a destination for both casual dining and special occasions, with dishes suited to everything from midweek lunches to weekend gatherings.
With a focus on quality ingredients and simple presentation, the refreshed menu aims to reflect the changing seasons while maintaining the restaurant’s relaxed, welcoming style.
Kelly Moorby, operations director at Wynyard Hall, said: “This new spring menu is all about fresh flavours, seasonal ingredients and giving guests even more reasons to visit The Glass House.
“We wanted to create a menu that feels relaxed and approachable while still offering dishes that feel special, whether you’re joining us for a long lunch, dinner with friends or a family meal.”
The Glass House is open from Wednesday to Saturday, with Sunday dining also available. Booking is recommended.
