Property firm submits 450-home scheme plans
A property firm has submitted plans for a 450-home scheme.
Keyland Developments aims to create an estate in Colburn, near Catterick Garrison, North Yorkshire.
Bosses say the venture, earmarked for farmland and titled Colburn Grange, would include up to 40 per cent affordable housing.
North Yorkshire Council is set to decide on the plans later this year.
Beth O’Hara, land and planning manager at Keyland Developments, which is the property trading arm of Kelda Group and sister company to Yorkshire Water, said: “Colburn Grange presents an excellent opportunity to assist with the recognised need for well-considered new housing in this area.
“We have taken on board input from recent consultations to enhance the proposals and are looking forward to moving through the next steps to bring this important new development to life.”
