Red Bricks, Blue Chips or Aston Martins?
Money Penny Wealth and youngsRPS joint event
Aston Workshop, Beamish, County Durham
More than 40 guests gathered at the Aston Workshop in Beamish for an exclusive evening exploring investment opportunities across stocks, shares and property.
Set within the showroom’s striking collection of classic Aston Martins, attendees heard insights from Invesco on equities and from youngsRPS on property, offering a well-rounded perspective on long-term investment strategies.
The event was chaired by Simon Dobson, business development executive at Money Penny Wealth, who ensured a balanced and considered discussion throughout.
Against the backdrop of high-performance, heritage vehicles, the setting reflected the tone of the evening - focused, refined and forward-thinking.
Experts from both sectors outlined potential opportunities and likely outcomes, encouraging open discussion, challenging perspectives and, in some cases, shifting opinions.
Guests were also treated to catering from The Black Horse Beamish, complementing the premium setting and elevating the overall experience.
Richard Blackett, director at Money Penny Wealth, said: “We are delighted to be associated with this iconic British marque.
“Our guests have thoroughly enjoyed having choices explained to them in this exclusive location.”
Graham Bruce, managing director of youngsRPS, added: “Our team have a wide range of experience and the guests today appreciated the deeper understanding that we can bring to property investment.”
Alex Henderson, sales manager at Aston Workshop, added: “We have many choices that might rival the performance of property or shares on display here.
“It has been a pleasure welcoming such an appreciative audience.”
While property and shares were the focus of the discussion, the surrounding collection of high-end vehicles offered a compelling reminder that alternative assets can also deliver strong performance, long-term value growth and, notably, the benefit of being free from capital gains tax!
