GFW strengthens property management team
Newcastle-based property consultancy GFW has appointed Tamsin Swann as a senior associate as it expands its professional property management team.
Tamsin brings experience managing commercial property portfolios and will support the firm’s plans to grow its management services across the region.
She joins following the recent appointment of partner Simon Heydecke, with Harriet Hoyland also joining as a graduate surveyor as part of a wider recruitment drive.
Tamsin said: “I’m delighted to be joining GFW, the team have big plans and a very dynamic approach to property management and client relationships and I’m looking forward to being part of that.
“There are huge opportunities in the North East so it feels like the perfect time to join that growth journey.”
Simon added: “Bringing the right people into the team is a key part of our strategy as we continue to grow our property management service.
“Tamsin’s experience in commercial management and in particular expertise in service charge management will strengthen our capability and help us support clients with increasingly complex portfolios.
“Alongside investing in new systems and streamlining how we deliver our services, these appointments ensure we are well positioned to continue delivering a high-quality service, supporting the growth of our clients’ property assets.”
Their appointments strengthen GFW’s offering as demand rises across office, industrial and specialist assets, with the firm also investing in new technology and service improvements to support clients.
Sally Hart, managing partner, added: “The growth we are investing in reflects the evolution of our property management service.
“With new faces joining our property management accounts team and the recent appointment of Peter Jones as building surveyor, we are further strengthening the firm’s technical capability.
“Ongoing recruitment, alongside continuous improvements to systems and processes, positions us to support clients, drive growth and deliver best-in-class service.”
