Tank expands SEO team with two hires
Digital marketing and PR agency Tank has appointed Beuford Smith and Laura Cooney to strengthen its SEO and AI search offering.
Beuford joins as SEO lead, bringing experience delivering performance-led campaigns for major brands, while Laura takes on the role of technical SEO specialist.
The pair will support the agency’s growing SEO team across its Nottingham and Manchester offices.
Beuford Smith, SEO lead at Tank, said: “Tank has a fantastic reputation for delivering creative, result-driven campaigns, so it’s really exciting to join at a time when the agency is investing further in its SEO offering.
“There’s a real opportunity for us to elevate how we approach search, combining the technical excellence with the strategic insight to drive meaningful growth for clients.
“I can’t wait to work with the team to build upon the strong foundations already in place.”
Martin Harris, head of digital at Tank, added: “Bringing Beuford and Laura into the team is a significant step forward for our SEO proposition, with both bringing highly valuable expertise that complement our existing capabilities.
“As search rapidly shifts towards AI-driven discovery and answer engines, it's vitally important for brands to strengthen their SEO approach if they wish to remain visible, credible and trusted across both traditional and generative search environments.
“This shift puts a clear spotlight on the importance of top-tier expertise.
“The latest appointments reflect our continued investment in delivering the very best-in-class digital performance for our clients and as search continues to evolve and change, having the right people in place is crucial.
“I’m excited to see what this strengthened team will achieve over the coming months.”
