Addison Lee appoints chief executive

Ground transport, taxi, and courier provider Addison Lee has appointed Patrick Gallagher as chief executive as it continues to strengthen its leadership team.

Patrick, who joined the business as chief operating officer in 2020, succeeds Liam Griffin, who moves to a group role within parent company ComfortDelGro.

He brings more than 35 years’ leadership experience, including a long tenure as chief executive of CitySprint Group.

In his new role, Patrick will oversee operations across London and the North West as the business aligns its UK structure to support growth.

He said: “Addison Lee has set the benchmark for premium urban mobility in London, and I’m incredibly proud to be leading the company into its next chapter.

“Our focus will be on driving innovation, expanding our services and continuing to deliver market-leading propositions to our customers, all while supporting the people who make Addison Lee possible: the drivers.

“We’re committed to improving the experience and livelihoods of our drivers, providing opportunities and practical support so they can thrive on the road and build fulfilling careers.”
