B. Braun managing director joins RCS England
Michael Parden, managing director of B. Braun UK, has been appointed to The Court of Patrons of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS England).
The appointment recognises his longstanding support for surgical education and the company’s contribution to the UK surgical community.
Michael is set to take on a new role as chief executive of B. Braun North America later this year, while continuing to support the College’s mission.
The position will see him contribute to advancing surgical standards, education and patient care through the work of the Royal College.
Michael said: “It was an inspiring occasion and a privilege to stand alongside such distinguished Patrons who share a deep commitment to the future of surgery.
“The Royal College of Surgeons of England plays a vital role in shaping the next generation of surgical leaders, and I am honoured to support that mission.
“My passion for surgical education and innovation has only grown through this partnership, and I look forward to continuing our work together to improve patient care around the world.”
Tim Mitchell, president of RCS England, added: “Michael is a dedicated champion of RCS England’s mission to advance surgical excellence.
“His unwavering support for the College is helping to drive innovation, elevate surgical education, and deepen the collaboration between RCS England and B. Braun.
“His appointment as Patron recognises the influence he has had in strengthening this partnership and the lasting contribution he continues to make.”
