Paxon expands commercial team with BDM hire
Logistics provider Paxon, headquartered in Blackburn, has appointed Anthony Heath as business development manager as it continues to grow its commercial team.
Anthony brings more than 20 years’ experience in logistics, having held roles at DHL, EV Cargo and UK Mail, as well as leading operations at Saint-Gobain and Clugston Global Logistics.
In his new role, he will focus on driving growth across key sectors including fashion, beauty and lifestyle.
Anthony’s appointment follows recent hires within the business development team as Paxon continues to scale its UK operations and support international brands entering the market.
He said: “Paxon and the companies it encompasses have built a strong reputation for creating streamlined fulfilment operations for brands of all sizes.
“They’re known for developing strategic end-to-end solutions that deliver tangible results, and that’s exactly why I wanted to join the team.
“Logistics and fulfilment have a profound impact on customer loyalty and brand growth.
“Today’s customers expect speed, convenience, seamless returns and sustainable operations.
“I’m looking forward to working with clients to create solutions that meet these expectations.”
Wayne Chapman, chief executive, added: “It's an exciting time to join Paxon, and we’re delighted to have Anthony on board.
“He brings extensive experience and a strong understanding of tech-enabled, scalable fulfilment solutions that create genuine value for customers.
“E-commerce fulfilment is constantly evolving, with advances in technology and AI presenting new opportunities.
“We’re building a sales team that can keep pace with these changes, leverage data and market insight and provide strategic consultancy to help clients achieve tailored solutions that work for them.
“Anthony will be a key part of that capability.”
