Industrial firm expands with engineer swoop
An industrial operator has expanded with a takeover.
JMMT Holdings has bought Rhino Engineering Group.
Officials say the swoop for the Port Talbot-based firm will “enhance engineering capabilities, broaden services and create growth opportunities across multiple sectors”.
They add it will build on a relationship between Rhino Engineering Group and JMMT Holdings’ Morgan Marine, which makes utilities and construction sector kiosks and cabinets from its Carmarthenshire base.
The agreement also includes Rhino Systems, which trades as Rhino Doors, Rhino Site Systems and Rhino HySafe.
Dai Jones, JMMT Holdings director, said: “This acquisition brings together two businesses with strong reputations in their respective markets.
“Rhino has built an impressive platform with its specialist engineering capabilities, and we see significant potential to accelerate growth through closer integration with Morgan Marine.”
Stuart Lawrence, group managing director at Rhino Engineering Group, added: “Rhino Doors has enjoyed a close working relationship over the years with Morgan Marine, which we expect will support continued growth.”
