JMAC Group hails future with 'momentous' takeover
A scaffolding firm says it has a framework for future growth after completing an acquisition.
JMAC Group has bought a majority shareholding in Tees Site Support.
Bosses say the move for the industrial services provider “marks a strategic step in JMAC’s history”, adding it will expand operational capability and provide a broader service offer.
Based in Stockton-on-Tees, JMAC Group complements scaffolding services with a broader portfolio that includes a safety systems division, rope access support and a blasting and protective coatings arm.
Operating from a site in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, Tees Site Support is known for services including rope access and confined space entry and rescue, project management, blasting and plant hire.
Luis McCarthy, JMAC Group chief executive, said: “This marks a momentous occasion.
“It moves us closer to our vision of becoming the leading multi-discipline access provider in the UK.”
