B. Braun UK appoints managing director
Sheffield-based healthcare company B. Braun UK has appointed Craig Cannings as managing director following a senior leadership transition.
Craig has been with the business since 2010, progressing from head of UK group finance to finance director, and playing a key role in its growth and transformation.
In his new role, he will oversee UK operations across medical devices, pharmaceutical products, digital health solutions and clinical services, while continuing to support the company’s sustainability agenda.
Craig’s promotion reflects B. Braun UK’s focus on developing internal talent and strengthening leadership as it continues to expand its healthcare offering across the country.
He said: “I am honoured to take on the role of managing director; it means a great deal to lead an organisation with such deep roots in Sheffield and the wider region.
“We have a clear mission to continue improving lives across the UK.
“I’m excited to champion our culture, support our brilliant teams, and continue strengthening our impact across UK healthcare.”
Roman Kübler, SVP sales region Western Europe, B. Braun Group, added: “Michael’s transition and Craig’s appointment reflect the strength of leadership within B. Braun.
“Craig’s strategic capability, cultural focus, and deep understanding of the organisation make him exceptionally well placed to guide the business forward while building on the strong foundations Michael has established.”
