POWWR appoints chief operating officer
Manchester-based energy software firm POWWR has appointed Martin Eade as chief operating officer to support its continued growth.
Martin brings more than 20 years’ experience in senior leadership roles across SaaS and technology businesses, with a track record in digital transformation, global expansion and M&A.
In his new role, he will oversee the company’s operations function, including customer success and broker and compliance teams, strengthening alignment across the business.
Martin said: “I have been monitoring POWWR from afar for some time and been really impressed by its development as an organisation.
“I am particularly passionate about SaaS, digital transformation, and building cultures where people and technology work together to deliver meaningful outcomes for customers.
“As such, POWWR was the perfect company for me.”
Martin’s appointment reflects POWWR’s focus on scaling its operations and leadership structure as it expands its cloud-based software offering in the energy sector.
Paul Hodnett, chief executive of POWWR, added: “Martin’s approach is grounded in customer excellence and operational rigour.
“He has consistently delivered results by putting customer needs at the centre of business transformation, developing high‑performing teams, and driving innovation in service delivery.
“His experience spans platform migrations, product launches, international market entry, and large‑scale integrations.
“He has also led growth strategies, organisational restructures, rebrands, and partnership schemes.”
