Engineering firm expands with Warrington office
An engineering firm is “building a lasting presence” with a new base to support infrastructure projects and future growth.
Eastgate Engineering has opened an office in Warrington, marking its first permanent location in the region and a key step in its expansion strategy.
The company, which has operated from Teesside and Ireland for more than a decade, is establishing a closer presence to clients, projects and supply chain partners across the North West.
The move follows Eastgate’s involvement in the Lostock Sustainable Energy Plant near Northwich, where more than 200 personnel are currently deployed.
Warrington’s position within the region’s industrial corridor was a key factor in the decision, providing a central hub for project delivery and collaboration.
Bosses say the new office will support ongoing operations while creating opportunities for recruitment and partnerships.
They add it also signals a shift in Eastgate’s approach, moving from established hubs to a broader network of regional bases to underpin long-term growth.
David Brennan, founder and chief executive of Eastgate Engineering, said:
“Opening our Warrington office is a hugely important step for Eastgate.
“For over ten years, we’ve grown the business from our bases in Teesside and Waterford, so this represents the first chapter in expanding into permanent regional locations. With over 200 people currently working on the Lostock site, having a base in the North West allows us to better support our teams, work more closely with our clients, and invest long-term in the region.
“This isn’t just about opening an office; it’s about building a lasting presence here.”
