Engage celebrates record-breaking year
A Leeds-based marketing agency is celebrating record growth after a standout year driven by new clients, team expansion and strong performance.
Engage has reported a 23 per cent rise in revenue for the 2025/26 financial year, marking its strongest results to date.
The full-service agency has grown its team to 64 employees after hiring 15 new staff and securing 18 new clients across sectors including retail, property, legal and FMCG.
Following its transition to employee ownership, the business has continued to build momentum, delivering major projects for clients such as homeware brand DUSK and Motorsport UK.
Alongside its financial performance, Engage has also picked up four industry awards, recognising both its agency work and workplace culture.
Looking ahead, the firm plans to further refine its offering, expand its client base and launch a new website to showcase its capabilities.
Managing director Alex Willcocks said: “We’ve just delivered our best ever financial year, which is a really tangible sign that the transition to employee ownership is working and that the business is moving in the right direction.
“Being employee owned has created a genuine shift in how the team shows up.
“People are thinking more commercially, and joining the dots between their role, the quality of our work, and the success of the wider business.
“We’re removing the traditional barriers you see in many businesses – the disconnect between leadership and team, the lack of alignment, the ‘that’s not my job’ mentality.
“In its place, we’re building a culture and mindset where everyone is genuinely invested in Engage's success.
“There’s a belief that putting people first comes at the expense of performance.
“We’re proving the opposite.
“Done properly, it’s precisely what drives it.”
