Source Marketing promotes account director
Leeds-based PR and marketing agency Source Marketing has promoted Lewis Scott to account director as it continues to invest in its team.
Lewis first joined the agency in 2018 on a university placement before returning full-time in 2023, progressing quickly through the ranks.
He has since taken on increased responsibility across client accounts and supported team development.
In his new role, Lewis will lead key accounts, shape strategy and contribute to the agency’s wider growth.
He said: “Having started at Source on placement before returning in a full-time role, I’ve had the opportunity to see the business from different perspectives.
“Since coming back, it’s been a chance to build on that experience, take on new challenges and contribute to the team.
I’m looking forward to continuing that as a newly promoted account director and being even more of a part of the direction and future of Source.”
Lewis’ promotion reflects Source Marketing’s continued investment in internal talent as it scales its client offering and team capabilities.
Daniel Kennedy, director at Source Marketing, added: “Myself and my fellow directors, Chris Hughes and Martha Phillips, all joined Source as employees before progressing to director level.
“And Lewis’ progression is yet another example of how the right people can develop and build an incredible career within the business over time.
“Since returning to Source, Lewis has made a significant impact across both client work and the team.
“He understands the agency inside out, having started here on placement, and has always stepped up impressively when promoted or given greater responsibility.
“This promotion reflects both his contribution to date and the role he’ll play as we continue to grow.
“We’re looking forward to seeing Lewis flourish in this senior role and become a key part of an exciting period for Source.”
