Azets appoints audit partner at Birmingham office

Accountancy and advisory firm Azets has appointed Edith Yagoh as audit and assurance partner at its Birmingham office.

Edith brings more than 20 years’ experience, having held senior roles at Deloitte, Ernst & Young and Forvis Mazars. 

She has worked across international markets and specialises in supporting privately owned and private equity-backed businesses.

In her new role, she will strengthen the firm’s audit and assurance offering as it continues to grow its Birmingham office.

Edith said: “I bring diverse experience across large and middle market businesses as well as family-owned businesses.

“I have worked with businesses in a wide range of sectors including manufacturing, automotive, consultancies and service providers.

“What resonated with me when I spoke to Azets was their focus on SMEs and the local and personalised services they provide to their clients across their many offices in the UK and internationally.

“I am a fluent French speaker, having worked across Africa in French-speaking countries so am well positioned to service clients with operations in French speaking parts of the world.”

Edith’s appointment reflects Azets’ ongoing investment in senior talent as it expands its services to clients across the UK.
