Redford Developments appoints planning manager
Warwickshire-based property developer Redford Developments has appointed Polly Mathews as senior planning manager to support its growing pipeline.
Polly joins from Berkeley St Joseph, where she spent six years working on major regeneration schemes across the West Midlands.
A chartered town planner, she brings experience in leading project teams and managing complex planning applications.
In her new role, she will oversee planning strategy and land appraisals, helping to progress sites through the development process.
Polly said: “I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Berkeley St Joseph, working on their flagship schemes; Snow Hill Wharf, and Glasswater Locks in Birmingham, together with the masterplanning process for an exciting regeneration coming forward within the city core.
“I am delighted to now be working across Redford’s full portfolio of sites, where I can be part of a small team, seeing through the entire planning and pre-construction process.”
Polly’s appointment marks a key step for the business as it strengthens its in-house capability and continues to expand its portfolio across residential and commercial projects.
Richard Mees, chief executive of Redford Developments, added: “Polly joins us with invaluable experience gained at Berkeley St Joseph and during her time as a planning consultant.
“She brings a new dimension to the team and we are thrilled to have her on board.
“Having just obtained outline planning for a 400-bed PBSA scheme next to the University of Warwick, we are seeking to lodge four major planning applications this year.
“We currently have ten sites at various stages of the planning cycle and are also targeting the acquisition of an additional eight sites.”
