MBO secures future of Vantage Waste Solutions

A South Yorkshire-based waste management company has secured its long-term future following a management buy-out by its existing leadership team.

Vantage Waste Solutions Limited, headquartered in Sheffield, which provides compliant waste services across hazardous and non-hazardous streams, including WEEE disposal, battery recycling and secure product destruction, has completed the deal, placing ownership firmly in the hands of its current management. 

Bosses say the buy-out allows the leadership team to build on Vantage’s established reputation for technical expertise and regulatory compliance while maintaining its local presence.

They add that operations will continue from the Sheffield headquarters, with no disruption expected for customers, suppliers or staff.

Ben Clarke, speaking on behalf of the Vantage Waste Solutions management team, said: “We are delighted to complete this management buy-out and take ownership of the business at such an exciting stage in its development. 

“Vantage has built a strong reputation in the waste management sector, and this transition ensures continuity for our customers, employees, and partners.

The transaction was led by Breeze Corporate Finance, with Paul Bevan and Jack Durbin advising the management team. 

Legal support for the deal was provided by AG Corporate Law, with Adam Gilbert and Harriet Woolley acting on behalf of Ben Clarke, while Actons Solicitors advised founders Cameron Bryce and Nicola Bryce, with legal support provided by Peter Flowerday and Alastair Rose.
