Burgess Hodgson appoints brand ambassador
Kent-based accountancy firm Burgess Hodgson has appointed former England rugby captain Jason Robinson OBE as brand ambassador.
Jason, a Rugby World Cup winner in 2003, enjoyed an outstanding dual-code career, playing both rugby league and rugby union at the highest level.
He earned 56 caps for England in union, scoring 30 tries, and was also selected for the British and Irish Lions.
In rugby league, he starred for Wigan and represented Great Britain, establishing himself as one of the most dynamic players of his generation.
He later made history as the first mixed-race player to captain the England national rugby union side and was awarded an OBE in 2008 for services to sport.
In his new role, he will support a programme of client events and contribute to the firm’s thought leadership activity, drawing on his experience of high-performance environments.
Jason said: “High-performing teams don’t happen by chance — they’re built on culture, accountability, and a shared commitment to excellence.
“I’m proud to be an ambassador for Burgess Hodgson and to support a business that truly lives those values.”
The partnership is built around a shared focus on continuous improvement and performance, with Robinson bringing insights from elite sport into a business context.
Richard Stewart, chief executive of Burgess Hodgson, added: “Jason’s career is a remarkable example of what preparation, discipline, and the relentless pursuit of improvement can achieve.
“Those are not abstract qualities.
“They translate directly into how we work with our clients every day.
“We want to build something with Jason that goes beyond association and genuinely reflects what both organisations stand for.”
