Host appoints chief executive
Residential operations platform Host has appointed Stewart Moore as chief executive to support its next phase of growth.
Stewart brings more than 20 years’ experience across the UK and European living sectors, including roles spanning student accommodation, build-to-rent and multifamily housing.
He previously played a key role in scaling CRM Students to more than 26,000 beds before its acquisition by an institutional investor.
In his new role, he will focus on expanding Host’s presence across build-to-rent, co-living and wider residential markets, working with developers and investors to grow the platform.
Stewart’s appointment reflects Host’s strategy to diversify its offering and strengthen its position across the evolving living sector.
Stewart said: “Host has been built around the needs of owners and developers who want an operator that genuinely understands the details of running residential assets.
“The living sector continues to grow well beyond traditional purpose-built student housing, and there is a significant opportunity in co‑living and multi and single family homes for platforms that can bring operational rigour, brand clarity and real on‑the‑ground experience.
“We are very much open for business.”
