Quod bolsters Leeds team
Planning consultancy Quod has strengthened its Leeds office with the return of director Pete Hall to support its growing infrastructure offering.
Pete, who has been with the firm for nearly 13 years, relocates from London where he worked on major infrastructure projects.
He brings specialist expertise in Development Consent Orders and nationally significant infrastructure schemes.
Pete’s move back to Yorkshire positions him to better support projects across the North, drawing on both national experience and local knowledge.
He is joined in Leeds by assistant planner Amy Pickering, as the office continues to grow following a successful first year in its new space.
Pete said: “I am very excited to be back in Leeds to help grow Quod’s infrastructure planning offer.
“The DCO regime is becoming increasingly complex, requiring a delicate balance between technical rigour and local sensitivity.
“I can bridge that gap and help clients navigate the process, combining Quod’s national reputation for handling NSIPs with a hands-on, local presence that understands the specific geographic and political nuances of Yorkshire and the wider North.”
Richard Frudd, head of Leeds and senior director at Quod, added: “It is fantastic to be working in an office with such incredibly talented colleagues.
“We are delighted to welcome Pete back to Yorkshire, and to have Amy join the team to strengthen our offer.
“We’re also so pleased to see Emma rightfully recognised for her talent and hard work.
“Supporting the next generation of planners is hugely important to us, and both Amy and Emma are quickly establishing themselves as future leaders in our business.”
