Sugoi Consulting boosts engineering capability
North East-based engineering consultancy Sugoi Consulting has appointed John Robson to strengthen its technical offering as it continues to grow.
John brings more than 25 years’ experience in the metal decorating industry and will lead product development, oversee technical operations and support the expansion of the firm’s services.
John said: “I’m excited to join the company at such a pivotal time.
“With our customer centric approach, decades of experience and technical knowledge within the team, we’re able to push the boundaries of design and deliver even greater value to our clients.”
Alongside John’s appointment, the business has secured investment from the North East Business & Innovation Centre to enhance its design and product development capability.
The move supports Sugoi Consulting’s continued growth as it expands its reach across global manufacturing and engineering markets.
Alan Rutter, managing director at Sugoi Consulting, added: “We are delighted to welcome John to the team.
“Having previously worked together for a number of years, since we were apprentices, I’m well aware of his extensive experience.
“His expertise and leadership will play a key role in strengthening our technical capabilities and delivering high-quality solutions to our expanding customer base.
“And utilising cutting-edge technology, recognised across industries, we can support our customers and our long-term strategic objectives, such as expanding our offer to local and global supply chains.”
