Flexico opens Knaresborough office hub
A workspace provider is expanding its footprint with a new flexible office hub aimed at supporting commuters and remote professionals.
Flexico, part of The Wizu Group, is set to open a 7500sq ft workspace at Hexagon House in Knaresborough next month.
Located at St James Business Park near the A1, the site will offer serviced offices, co-working areas, meeting rooms and virtual office services through flexible pricing models.
The facility includes private offices accommodating up to 30 desks, bookable meeting rooms and a co-working lounge with all-day access.
Free onsite parking and strong transport links are expected to appeal to professionals travelling from surrounding areas.
The launch marks Flexico’s 19th workspace and reflects the continued growth of The Wizu Group’s flexible workspace portfolio, designed to support both suburban and city-based businesses.
Developed in partnership with landlord Shirestone, the new site aims to provide accessible, modern working environments for a range of users, from freelancers to established companies.
Wizu Group chairman and co-founder John Guggenheim said: “By bringing Flexico sites to more locations outside of cities, we very much see this as an opportunity for businesspeople to widen their own networking circles – whether that is recruiting, generating new business leads or simply meeting like-minded professionals.
“Our mantra is ‘everything you need and nothing you don’t’ and with Flexico we offer our already popular membership model.
“Hexagon House has capacity for over 200 workstations, plus meeting rooms.
“We’ll also continue to offer a range of professional needs, offering both phone-booths and quiet spaces.
“We’re very excited to see the level of appeal this will garner across Knaresborough and the surrounding area as the go-to professional working space that helps bring together a pool of incredible talent that already exists here.”
Wizu Group chief executive and co-founder Tom Almas said: “Our dream was to create spaces without the stress of running a traditional office, offering flexible terms, transparent pricing, excellent service and all set in a beautiful environment.
“In 2016 our ambition was realised and Wizu is now one of the most highly rated workspaces in the north.
“Flexico is taking that model and applying it to business communities operating outside the hustle and bustle of city centres with less immediate access to modern office facilities that meet their business needs.
“It caters for individuals and businesses wanting flexibility and accessibility in vibrant, stylish and creative hubs without having to pay city-centre prices.”
An open day will take place on May 12, offering businesses the opportunity to explore the space and learn more about membership options.
