Complii takes 'exciting step' with lift firm move

A building safety and regulatory compliance services firm has expanded with a takeover.

Complii has bought Classic Lifts (Scotland).

Bosses say the “significant milestone… further enhances Complii’s position as the UK’s most comprehensive building compliance partner”.

Under the terms of the deal, former Classic Lifts (Scotland) owner Dave McColl has reverted to an executive director role, with ex-operations director William Coleman becoming managing director.

Based in Glasgow, Classic Lifts (Scotland) is known for services including planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, emergency call-outs and modernisation and installation works.

Sarah Dixon, chief executive at London-headquartered Complii, said: “This acquisition is an important and exciting step.

“Classic Lifts (Scotland) brings exceptional expertise, a dedicated team and a track record of quality that is entirely aligned with our values.”

Dave added: “Joining Complii is a fantastic opportunity for our team.
