Integritis 'accelerates on' with JS-IG acquisition
A business support systems firm has expanded with a takeover.
Integritis has bought JS Information Governance (JS-IG).
Bosses say the move for the data protection, information governance and regulatory consultancy has doubled Integritis’ turnover and bolstered support platforms.
Under the terms of the deal, JS-IG co-founder Mark Povey and three staff have moved to Integritis.
Army veteran Mark will operate as service and commercial director, while also overseeing the Integritis Foundation, which invests a share of profits into ex-military personnel resettlement, training and long-term consultancy.
Based in Long Eaton, near Nottingham, Integritis’ services cover areas including operations management, finance control and data protection, with Halifax-based JS-IG delivering data protection, data subject access request, freedom of information (FOIA) and outsourced data protection officer support.
Kieran Morgan-McGeehan, Integritis co-founder, said: “Bringing Mark and the JS-IG team into the business is a strategic acceleration on every front.
“Commercially, it deepens our data protection, information governance and regulatory capability.
“It also places the Integritis Foundation in the hands of someone who truly understands the people it is built to serve.”
Mark added: “This isn’t a deal driven by numbers; it’s driven by trust, alignment of values and a sense I now have the right partners to lighten the load and take on the work I care most about.
“The Foundation is personal.
“My focus is on making the Foundation free at the point of use, drawing in the networks and relationships I’ve built over decades and building something that lasts.”
