Rock Face appoints head of content and brand
Men’s care brand Rock Face has appointed former Red Bull content lead Jim Holmes as head of content and brand as it looks to accelerate growth across the UK grooming market.
Jim brings more than 15 years’ experience across broadcast, brand and agency roles, including a multi-BAFTA-winning career as an executive producer working across television, live events and digital content.
During his career, he picked up four BAFTAs and later spent a decade at Red Bull leading major international campaigns spanning music, sport and culture across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia.
More recently, he held senior positions within social-first agencies while running his own London production company, ACT 5, delivering global campaigns and long-form content for international brands.
At Rock Face, Jim will lead the brand’s content and creative strategy as the business continues to grow its retail presence and build purpose-led campaigns focused on men’s wellbeing and modern masculinity.
Jim said: “Rock Face is one of those rare brands that actually backs up what it says with what it does.
“There’s an honesty to the product and the messaging, and that gives you something real to build from.
“The opportunity now is to turn up the volume, creatively and innovatively, and make sure more people not only see the brand, but feel it.
“If we get that right, the commercial growth follows.”
James Wilkinson, chief executive of Rock Face, added: “Hiring Jim reflects our ambition to scale the brand far beyond the shelf.
“We want to disrupt the personal care aisle not just through performance, but by staying true to our mission to elevate the everyday for men.
“With Jim’s storytelling expertise, we can ensure Rock Face is a brand driven by purpose and real impact, as well as retail growth.”
