RG Corporate Finance marks milestone with record
A corporate finance firm says more is to come after celebrating an anniversary with record results.
RG Corporate Finance has marked its 15th year with best-ever annual fee income and EBITDA results.
Operating nationally from bases in Newcastle, York and London, the firm supports clients across areas including company disposals and acquisitions, equity and debt raising, refinancing and management buy-outs and buy-ins.
Founded in 2011 by partner and head of corporate finance Carl Swansbury, it employs more than 20 staff.
Counting work with buyers and investors from Japan, Sweden, the US, mainland Europe and beyond, its portfolio includes supporting a management buy-out at Peterlee-based GT Group, and advising on the sale of London-based Australasian Recruitment Company and New Zealand-based Home Recruitment to UK-based Bluestones Investment Group.
Carl said: “When I launched RG Corporate Finance in May 2011, the ambition was to build a high-quality, entrepreneurially-focused corporate finance boutique that could compete nationally, while remaining true to our roots in the North East.
“Fifteen years on, I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved.
“To have completed another record year to March 31 2026 makes 15th anniversary even more special.”
He added: “Our presence in Yorkshire and London has further strengthened our geographic reach, but what really sets us apart is the combination of inch-wide, mile-deep sector knowledge and insights, transactional experience and the ability to deliver senior-led advice on complex deals.
“We are excited about what comes next.”
