Aurrigo gears up with £4.5 million supercar deal
An autonomous transport firm has secured a multi-million-pound automotive contract to support the production of a next-generation supercar programme.
Aurrigo International plc has signed a new three-year £4.5 million framework agreement to supply high-performance electrical systems for a long-standing client.
The deal includes £810,000 of contracted orders scheduled for delivery this year, with production volumes increasing across 2027 and 2028.
Bosses say the agreement reflects the company’s expertise in advanced electrical systems, engineering integration and complex programme delivery.
The contract also supports the continued growth of Aurrigo’s automotive division, which works alongside its autonomous vehicle operations.
Professor David Keene MBE, chief executive of Aurrigo International, which recently announced the opening of a new advanced manufacturing and engineering hub in Coventry, said: “This contract is further proof of our world-class engineering and delivery capability.
“Our automotive team is the innovation engine behind our autonomy capabilities, with a vertically integrated research and development function engineering advances in hardware, software, and AI into real-world autonomous systems, turning complex programmes into deployments built to exacting standards.
“That same discipline and technical depth feeds directly into our operations as we scale autonomy into demanding, safety-critical environments.
“We continue to see a strong pipeline for the autonomous division supported by high engagement from several blue-chip parties and positive progress across ongoing testing programmes.”
