Ancasta appoints powerboat specialist
Ancasta International Boat Sales has appointed David Jones as sales broker at its Lymington office as demand continues to grow across its powerboat division.
Based at Lymington Yacht Haven, David brings more than 40 years’ experience in the marine industry, including 25 years with a leading UK luxury motor yacht brand.
His appointment strengthens Ancasta’s specialist sales expertise across the power and sail sectors as the business continues to expand its brokerage operations.
David said: “Ancasta has an enviable reputation in the industry, and I’m really pleased to be joining such a strong and well-established team.
“I’m looking forward to contributing my own experience to support the company’s continued growth.”
Bosses at Ancasta say further yacht specialist appointments are expected in the coming months to support continued growth.
Stuart Brotherton, head of sales at Ancasta, says: “It’s great to welcome David to the team at such an exciting time for the business.
“We’re continuing to invest in recruiting experienced yacht sales specialists across different sectors to enhance the support we offer our clients.
“As buyers become more informed, having genuine, experience-led expertise within the team is increasingly important.
“David brings a wealth of industry experience, particularly in the motor yacht market, which will be a real asset to the business.”
