Build-to-rent developer PLATFORM_ appoints CFO
Build-to-rent investor and developer PLATFORM_ has appointed Matt Garner as chief financial officer as the business continues its growth plans across the UK.
Matt joins with more than 13 years’ experience in senior real estate finance roles, most recently serving as CFO at Praxis Real Estate Management.
He brings extensive experience in finance transformation and major transactions, including overseeing £800 million of real estate debt facilities.

“I’m delighted to join the team at an exciting stage, as the business continues to grow and deliver its development pipeline, while continuing to expand its operating platform, including into third-party management.”
Jonathan Rae, outgoing finance director at PLATFORM_, added: “It’s been a privilege to work with the exceptionally talented team at PLATFORM_ over the last eight years.
“The real estate sector has faced a number of seismic challenges over this period but at PLATFORM_ we always found a way to keep delivering new homes and growing our service offering under the PLATFORM_ brand.

PLATFORM_ currently has a portfolio and pipeline of around 4200 homes across the UK and is progressing major developments in Leeds, Bristol and Milton Keynes.
