Cegedim Rx strengthens leadership team
Lancashire-based health-tech company Cegedim Rx has appointed Andy Gent as product director as the business continues to expand its senior leadership team.
Andy brings more than 12 years’ experience across healthcare technology, having previously worked with Optum, formerly EMIS, and TPP across primary and secondary care systems.
He also previously spent four years with Cegedim Rx before leaving in 2023 and now returns to lead the continued development of the company’s Pharmacy Manager platform.
Andy said: “Every new product enhancement we make is grounded in wanting to make the lives of pharmacy teams easier.
“We don’t believe in developing new functionality just because it’s cool, it has to work hard for pharmacies and solve the real problems and challenges they face.”
Andy’s appointment follows the recent arrival of Stephanie Yapp as marketing director as Cegedim Rx continues to strengthen its leadership team.
Managing director Tracey Robertson added: “We’re so thrilled to have Andy back.
“Not just because his experience is second to none, but also because he’s rejoining us at such an exciting time for the business.”
