Dacres strengthens Harrogate lettings team

Yorkshire estate agency Dacre, Son & Hartley has appointed Rachel Fisher as lettings and property manager at its Harrogate office as the business continues to expand its rental division.

Rachel joins with more than six years’ experience in the property sector and will support the growth of the firm’s lettings portfolio across Harrogate, Ripon, Knaresborough, Wetherby and surrounding areas.

Her role includes generating new business, supporting landlords, carrying out rental valuations and overseeing day-to-day property management services.

Rachel said: “I’m really excited to join Dacres at a time when the lettings division is growing.

“I wanted a role that would give me the opportunity to develop the business side of my career and work across a wider range of property services, which made this a very appealing move.

“Dacres has an excellent reputation and the support of a large and experienced team behind it, which really stood out to me.

“The company covers everything from sales to agriculture and has a strong presence across Yorkshire, so it felt like a fantastic opportunity.

“The Harrogate area has always had a strong lettings market and there’s continued demand from professional tenants looking for high quality homes.

“There’s also growing interest from landlords who are increasingly moving towards fully managed services because of the changing legislation and responsibilities involved with managing rental property.

“We offer landlords a very personal service, whether they have a large portfolio or just one property to let.

“There’s strong demand for good quality homes throughout the area and I’m looking forward to helping more landlords maximise their investments.”

Rachel’s appointment follows continued growth for Dacres’ lettings division, which has doubled the number of managed rental properties over the past year.

Patrick McCutcheon, head of residential at Dacre, Son & Hartley, added: “Rachel brings valuable experience in both sales and lettings, alongside excellent local market knowledge, which makes her a strong addition to our growing lettings team.

“There continues to be significant demand from landlords for professional property management services and Rachel will play an important role in supporting clients throughout the Harrogate area and beyond.

“Our lettings division has grown steadily since relaunching, and we remain committed to offering landlords a highly tailored and professional service backed by the strength of our extensive branch network.”
